The year of the car

Lucas has claimed 2008 as "The Year of the Car." In addition to our Honda being somewhat dead, we noticed our other SUV had a nail in the tire. After taking it in, they discovered the tire was starting to split where the nail was and so we had to order the new tire...which won't be in until at least Wednesday. Which means we have a spare on one car and no a/c on the other. Do you think the Lord has a sense of humor or what!?!

One of my favorite shows is Jon and Kate plus 8. It comes on late Monday nights so I usually have to tape it. They've actually been playing reruns of it on TLC so tonight I was watching it with Noah. We never watch tv together but for some reason he absolutely loves this show and is glued to the tube. It must be the 8 little ones running around that intrigue him. Probably thankful he is still an only child. =)

Here he is amazed by the moving and glowing lights of the tv and the 8 pairs of feet running around on it...oh, and sucking on the strap of a toy of course.
